Easter and various musings
I'm editing and reworking some of my older stuff, then updating at the two sites I post at most often, SkyeHawk and HPFandom. In the process, my LJ is getting cleaned up some. I'm also submitting the final version of each story to WTP. S'gonna take awhile - I have over thirty completed stories on my hard drive, although some are distinctly NOT Snarry and I'll end up doing those last.
I edited and submitted a couple of short pieces tonight, mostly to soothe my irritation after spending the afternoon with my extended family. I'm working now on a story called 'Redemption'. The original is in my memories. I've just finished reworking the prologue...it's different, but not so much. I wrote this awhile ago as my first attempt at angst. I'm not quite sure I succeeded, since it has a happy ending, but I did try. Anyway, I'm looking for someone to beta it when I finish reworking it, which may take a week or two or three. It'll be 38,000 - 40,000 words when I'm done and it's essentially a Snarry, although there are mentions of Harry/Draco in there.
If anybody's interested in beta'ing this, please leave a comment or email me directly. I'm mostly interested in characterization (particularly of Snape), plot, pacing, tone, etc - grammar and spelling were pretty much taken care of the first time 'round, so there won't be much to fix there. Thanks a whole huge bunch for reading thus far :)
